Flynn, Gillian

Already as a child, the American author and journalist Gillian Flynn was fascinated by horror and crime. She read books with violence, unexplained events and blood in the plot, and watched X rated films. When she was seven years old, she had already seen such films as Psycho, Alien and Bonnie and Clyde – with her father’s blessing. He was a professor and teacher of Film Studies, while her mother’s speciality as a teacher was reading and reading comprehension.
