Holmén, Martin

Swedish author and teacher, was born in Eskilstuna and grew up in Krogstorp outside Sölvesborg, where he attended school. In 1993, he moved to Stockholm, and has since lived there with the exception of a couple of years as a student in Umeå. After working for a while, including in the restaurant branch, he studied at university in Stockholm and Umeå. He gained a master’s degree and subsequently worked as an upper secondary school teacher of Swedish, History and the History of Culture and Ideas.
