Kathleen Joan Reichs, better known as Kathy Reichs, is a prominent anthropologist and professor at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She is guest lecturer at several other universities, she is consulted by the United Nations and she is also the author of a series of international bestsellers about the forensic scientist and anthropologist Temperance "Bones" Brennan.
