Trosell, Aino

Trosell is a Swedish writer, born in the town of Malung where she grew up in a blue-collar family. In 1967, Aino Trosell moved to Gothenburg where she combined her high school studies with work at a psychiatric institution and a tobacco company. After graduating with a Bachelor of Social Services from the Social Work College in 1974, she took on employment as a social worker, but found the job unsatisfying and soon retrained as a welder. From 1975–85 she was professionally active as a shipyard worker, primarily in Gothenburg.
