Wells, Carolyn

Carolyn Wells was a best-selling American author of children’s and young adult books and mystery stories in the early 1900s. She was a successful editor of anthologies and a respected poet, and she also wrote copy for a few comic strips. Her popularity endures; her children’s and young adult stories as well as her poetry collections are still in print.
